God's Truly Amazing Message...

You can see God's miracles if you've got your eyes open to them. Here's a true story I experienced yesterday. My uncle who has been suffering from alzhiemers disease for over 9 years is now lying in St. Mary's Hospital taking his last breaths of life before moving on to another New Life. We're extremely sad to lose him but know his life will be better on the other side. As I'm sitting in his room yesterday amongst the company of family members, I received a message from another on my phone. I opened the message to hear an audio of a baby's heartbeat! This would be my new, soon to be with us grandchild!!!!! Tears came to my eyes as I realized the message God had sent me at that moment in time. I AM Here! YOU are not alone! Danny comes to me as I send another to take his place. NOT to fill his shoes, but to fill the void left behind. GOD IS GOOD!!

Uncle Danny Gets a New Home...

Today was a day of new beginnings for my Uncle Danny. He was admitted into Sunrise Cottages for care. 

For those of you who are not familiar with Sunrise, it is several cottages set up like regular homes and staffed with many caring people to support and care for our loved ones suffering from alzhiemers disease. It was the hardest thing my Aunt and their kids have ever had to do! A day of hope, a day of resignation, and a day of heartache. God Bless my dearest Uncle Danny in his new home.

We now present...Tank Goodness Twin Cities!

 

Tank Goodness Twin Cities is nearly ready to open for operation! 

We're soooo excited! Just one more thing on our "To Do List" is to get our licensing through the Dept. of Health. The final walk through is this Friday morning! We're prepared with fingers crossed! 

It's been an enormous project for us on top of everything else we're doing! 

BUT WE DID IT!! 

And we're Very Happy! 

The Cookie Shack is located at 2510 Kenzie Terrace, St. Anthony, MN

Our Chief Baker and Delicious Delegator (CBD) will be none other than Megan Janos (Our daughter)! Alongside Megan is childhood friend, Megan Roberts (yes! another Megan!). Megan #2 will fill the Chief Baker Assistant(CBA) and part time Cookie Chauffeur position! Alongside Megan #2 will be Chris Koch who will be our main Cookie Chauffeur. Chris comes directly from the current Tank Goodness business and brings her Cookie Box filled with experience, insight, & talents for dodging and weaving through this crazy Metro Area traffic! Not to mention the scheduling of all these deliveries!  We are so confident these 3 young ladies will be able to run the show-we're actually paying them a salary!! I know...you thought maybe they would do it for FREE right?!

 Dennis and Anne Tank(original owners and creators of Tank Goodness in 2004) have generously and patiently donated their time to train these youngsters in the cookie skills they'll need to serve thousands of customers the sweet delicacies known only to Tank Goodness! Our son, Jamey, whose business is interactive web design (www.Sevnthsin.com) is working to come on board to redesign the website and incorporate online ordering for us to enhance the experience of our customers! We're hoping Dennis accepts his offer and we get an amazing website for all of our current and new Tank Goodness business owners and customers!

We're so lucky to have such skilled children who are supporting us in our new journey.

 Of course, we think this will make a great family business and will generously allow them the opportunity to take it and run with it as far and as fast as they can! We're looking forward to a great future for all of us! Thanks Dennis and Anne for allowing us this fantastic opportunity! We won't let you down!!

I don't update my blog enough these days. I've just got too much on my plate right now so you'll all have to be patient. If you want to know what's going on in my life you're best served to go there. It's updated more frequently. I'll update later in the week with REALLY BIG NEWS!
