Oh Summer-How I Love Thee!

Summer Garden in June/July- Amazing and Beautiful.
It makes me sigh...."ahhhhh"

Lilly stops for a pose. 11 years old and still kickin! Luv you Biddy!

Foxglove! I love these!

This is what I see when I step out on my deck every morning with my cup of coffee to smell the fresh air! It is so amazing and settling at the same time. I can sit and have my coffee with the birds. Do I love this? YES! I do!!

Working Conditions Need to be Addressed...

Poor guy...you just gotta question these working conditions.
The background noise is irrepressable (aka: birds chirping, slight breeze blowing, water fountain dripping, etc.),
The fresh air and landscape are too distracting,
No desk to set up his LAPtop (I would assume that's why it is called this),
Natural light (do we call this the sun?) is too bright for my screen,
and the list goes on....
Maybe Rick should put in a complaint....NOT!
I'm sure there are those who would pay to work here.
Just try and de-stress ok?

Thursdays on First

So I had a beautiful day on Thursday for the Vendor's Market! A Huuuuuuge Thank You goes out to Bev & Danny (my aunt and uncle) and Mary (my mother-in-law) for helping me to set up! I couldn't have done it without you and gotten it all done by 11:00!! whew! I really appreciated the help! Bev and Danny hung around for a good part of the day and we had a lot of fun checking things out! Sales were ok but I am hopeful that I will do better each week! Thanks to all who stopped by to say "Hi"! It made my day! Now on to the next....

Sensitive...

Megan gave me a little kit to grow some sensitive plants. She had started some at work but they died. They are called sensitives because when you touch their leaves they fold up and bow down. I have already transplanted them and am hopeful they will grow big enough so I can give her a couple to take to work with her. Here is their progress so far.

Nice Day for a Ride...

Rick and I like to bike the trails and hauling our expensive bikes in the back of his truck hasn't been ideal so we bought a bike rack for transporting them. It sure makes it easier and provides damage control. Last Sunday we hit the Douglas Trail and rode 26 miles. It was a wonderful ride to Pine Island. We stopped at Subway and ate lunch and then headed back. Much to my dismay-the wind had picked up and we battled it the whole way back. Uuuugh! It was rough but I'm glad I had my new bike. It rides a lot easier and smoother so it wasn't quite as bad as it could have been. Next trail to conquer is Faribault. Don't know when but I'm looking forward to it.
