Are We Having Fun Yet?

I think the answer to that question is "YES"! I have been catching up on some much needed sleep. 2 days in a row I slept in until almost 10:00am! Unbelievable! I feel guilty and weird all day cause it's later than it should be and I don't think I'm going to get everything done. But I do...and it's all good. Went to Jamey's Gallery show last night. It was really cool! He was sooo pumped to be showing some of his artwork! We're very proud! I need to go see my Meggie Lou sometime soon! We need to make a date and do some serious bonding again. We had a lot of fun together at State but there wasn't enough one on one time. So we'll do it real soon ...OK? OK!
Tomorrow is little Grant and Big Girl Alexandra's birthday party. Sooo....back up to the cities we go! Hope to see you all there!
Ta-Ta for now!

It's over, but then again, it's only just begun!

Last night was a very emotional conclusion to my position as a dance team coach. I have mixed emotions of course. I will miss the contact with all the girls the most. The energy they give me is what has kept me going all these years. That and the overwhelming fulfillment I receive watching them grow to beautiful dancers. I don't know what's in store for my future but I'm sure God has a plan because I'm not done living yet. There's so much ahead of me. I'm just not sure which road to take. Maybe I'll let him steer for awhile. Life is good...how's your's? Feel free to let me know. Call for a lunch date, shopping spree, picnic at the beach (if summer ever gets here!), or just to talk. You know how I hate to be bored and quite frankly, Rick is not the best at conversation and entertainment (what guy is?). So just post it here or give me a call. You all have my phone number right???
Hugs to everyone.

It Feels good!

I spent the whole day at home today and managed to get some business, laundry, and much needed exercise done. It feels sooooo good to have the time and do it on my own schedule. Slept in til 8:00 and lounged around until 9:00. YeeHaw! I still managed to get a lot done even though I didn't leave the house until 1:30pm. Hee hee. Tomorrow I need to run into the city and finish my business and run errands. Then it's off to dance practice and then home to fix supper. Life is good cause it's not stressful.
On another note...you should all check out my profile. I tried to do it one time and it didn't work, so now it's there. I hope you are all getting dug out from all the snow we got. Whew! Just when I thought spring was in the air. Ick! I REALLY HATE WINTER!!! Ok...you can argue that it's pretty and I'll just say it's "Pretty Damn Cold"! Ha Ha! So there. I'll just look forward to our trip to Mexico in March. Something to dream about.

Have a good week everyone!

UNBELIEVABLE! AMAZING! AWESOME!

We just returned from State Dance Competitions. The K-M KoMettes were truly AMAZING!!
They danced their little hearts out and got into finals taking 5th place in High Kick on Friday and finals again on Saturday taking 6th place in Jazz/Funk! I have to Congratulate them on such a Fantastic Accomplishment! We just keep getting better every year! It's hard to think of not coaching next year but I know it's the right time for me to step down. I'll just miss it a lot! Randy, Michelle, Alexandra, & Grant stopped by to visit us at the competition. Grant DID NOT like the loud music. Alexandra and Michelle stayed for a bit. Thanks for coming and sharing in our fun event guys! As usual...it was good to see you again. Anyway...it's good to be home now. Megan will go back to College today...BE CAREFUL MEGGIE LOU!! The roads are terrible! Say a prayer to keep her safe. Love you all...

"Ode to Bev"

This post goes out to my beloved Auntie "Bev" whom I owe my life. You know if it weren't for you, Dan, my parents, and Ricky Dean, I don't know where I would be today. But at this moment I'm at my parent's house in AZ and we just had dinner and celebrated Danny's birthday. Happy Birthday Danny! Bev advised me tonight that I haven't updated my page in awhile so here you go Bev. This is my "Ode to YOU"!
Beverly Juenger
You make us laugh.
You shine like the sun
and warm our heart.
If we mess with you
You'll tell us off.
But we love you forever
And that's no lie!
Hugs and Kisses from Cindy and Megan

Off We Go!!

And They're off!! Tomorrow the K-M Varsity dance team goes to compete at the Sections Dance Competition. If we place in the top 4 we get to move on to the State Competition in St. Paul at the Energy X-cel Center on Feb. 18 & 19! We're gonna do it!!!! Yeah! Good luck girls! Sunday Megs and I will leave for Arizona for a little visit with my parents and return on thursday evening so we won't miss the State Dance Competition! We're hoping for warm weather but it won't matter too much to me since I just wanna spend time with my parents. Mom had by-pass surgery in Nov. and I can't wait to see how good she's doing! Can't wait MOM & DAD! Then when we get back we'll return to St. Paul with my cousin Kathy & her husband to stay in a hotel for the State dance Competition. Kathy's 2 daughters are both on K-M dance teams. Lindsay is a senior on the varsity team and Laura had her first successful season of dance on the Junior VArsity team. They're both amazing! I can't wait to watch and cheer for Lindsay tomorrow! You GO GIRL!! Kathy and I will prolly both scream for Joy!! This probably be my last post for awhile. I don't know. We'll see. Wish us luck!!

Another day in my life...

I will not whine anymore today. I woke up. I saw the sun and said..."Today I am alive!" I will be happy in the moment.
Much to do today. The week alone is going quickly because I have much to do. At least I don't have to feel guilty for not spending time with anyone. That's good. Rick called me from NY last night. He is tired and bored. Taking class all day and trying to keep himself entertained in the night. Since I am not there to "Nag" him he must be bored. Jamey and Megan are coming home tomorrow!! Yeah!!! I can't wait! I miss them soooo much! Love you all...off to shower and get ready for my busy day.
Enjoy yours!

Sometimes I wonder...

Have you ever wondered what your family is doing when you're not with them? I do....all the time. It's a wonder that I can keep my sanity when I'm home alone and no one calls me to check in. I don't mean to whine but....I feel soooo disconnected. Now I know you're all thinking that I'm just being ridiculous. And maybe you're right. Maybe I should just be content to know that no news is good news, right? Hmmmm? I wonder about that. Do any of you?
